School Council Bake Sale

The school council organised and ran a bake sale to raise money for the charity Place2Be. This charity raises money to support children’s mental health. We took part in an assembly where we learnt different strategies we can use to control our emotions such as happy breathing, counting to 10, taking part in our favourite hobby and sharing our worries with a trusted adult. Pupils of Beckfoot Allerton made cakes and buns that were decorated with something that makes them happy. We raised over £80, and the school council showed our school values or trust and responsibility when running the bake sale!
