Uniform Voucher Policy – School Uniforms
The Beckfoot Trust will provide Financial Support to families of students on free school meals now or that have been on free school meals at any time within the last six years. The eligibility will be based on the students identified on the Government’s Ever6 database.
Uniform vouchers will be valued at £30 and will be redeemable at Natasha’s Uniform Shop in Bradford. Vouchers will not be valid in any other outlets.
In special circumstances, uniform voucher support may be provided to other parents/carers where exceptional need can be explained (e.g. families moving into the area for the first time from abroad).

Second Hand Uniform
We collect in unwanted uniform throughout the academic year and sell it for small donations in the summer holidays. Information will be posted on Class Dojo about when the sale will be hosted.
Family Dining
At Beckfoot Allerton, we have our lunch ‘family dining’ style, which fits of our school value of ‘responsibility’. Children sit with the same 10 children every day so they always have a familiar friend to talk to and nobody is left out.
All children then have a ‘job’ just like that would if they were sitting in a big family: someone helps to put out the cutlery, someone else will put out the cups and pour the water. The older children help the adults to serve the food. Family Dining means that children don’t have to queue up for their food and everyone eats at the same time.
Our catering company is called ‘FM’ and we post the menus (which run on a three week cycle) on Class Dojo each week so you can see what foods your child can choose from. We also run theme days throughout the year so everyone gets the opportunity to try new foods.
Some children choose not to have a hot dinner and they bring a healthy packed lunch. These children still sit with the others and still have a role to play at Family Dining.
