Miss Blanchard’s assembly was all about good behaviour and doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do not because someone might see us.
We watched a story about Ben who found a magic ring which made him invisible. However, instead of using his magic powers for good, he did unkind things.
We discussed why we should have good behaviour in school and out in the community. We all agreed that good behaviour makes everyone happy, it makes our school a happy place to learn and it makes everyone feel nice. We remembered our school motto ‘We do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.” Finally, we revisited our three school rules: Be ready, Be respectful, Be safe. We can’t wait to see everyone demonstrating our values.
