Year 3 recently enjoyed a fun and exciting trip to Saltaire, supporting their geography learning on villages, towns, and cities. The children explored the historic village and learned about its unique history and layout. They also enjoyed a picnic lunch in the beautiful surroundings of Roberts Park, taking in the fresh air and scenery. As part of their adventure, they took part in Forest School activities, where they had a fantastic time relaxing in hammocks, balancing on tight ropes, building dens, toasting marshmallows, and safely creating fires. They also explored their creativity through Japanese Hapa Zome printing using natural materials. It was a wonderful day full of hands-on learning, adventure, and teamwork!
