Get Out More

This morning, our children had an assembly with Get out More – our local forest school provider. The assembly was all about the importance of trees within our climate and how we need to help conserve trees and nature when we are out in our local environments. One child from each class was then selected to plant a tree within our school wildlife garden and experience a workshop with our forest school practitioner Hazel.

The children had such fun learning about the different types of trees and finding a safe space for our plants within our school. We will continue to watch them grow and find a permanent home for them when they are ready to be removed from their planters.

Well done to the children involved!
