Vaisakhi Assembly

In this week’s assembly, we learnt about the Sikh celebration of Vaisahki. It takes place in April, and this is when New Year and Harvest is celebrated. We watched a video about how Sikhs prepare for and celebrate Vaisakhi, such as wearing bright clothes and going to special services at the Gurdwara. We learnt about the story of Vaisakhi and reflected on its key theme: bravery. We thought about how we could be inspired by the story and ways we could be a little bit more brave.
