Beckfoot Allerton Staff Involved in Research

Beckfoot Allerton has a sentence of how it wants to be remembered: Beckfoot Allerton ensured that all pupils gained powerful knowledge, behaved brilliantly and became confident community contributors.

As adults, we like to model our values and mission to our pupils.  We are proud to give back to our community and many of our teachers and leaders speak at local and national events.

Miss Hopps

(Y6 teacher/PE lead) works across Bradford schools supporting them with ‘creating active schools’ and has presented at the JUMP/CAS conference, sharing our fantastic work with active enrichment and PE.

Mrs Wardell

(Assistant headteacher) has written articles for education journals and has most recently written a blog for Bradford Research School about the new EEF Science guidance report.  You can read it here: Create, Capitalise, Cultivate: Dialogue in… | Bradford Research School

Miss Blanchard

(headteacher) speaks about behaviour and culture across the country and has most recently presented at schools in Barnsley and Doncaster about the work we do in Beckfoot Trust on behaviour and social and emotional barriers to learn.

Miss Dibb

(Y6 teacher/literacy lead) presented to over 100 primary school teachers and leaders at the Beckfoot Trust 10th Conference about our approach to writing and providing training to ensure we have consistency across our Trust primary schools to ensure no child is left behind.

Mrs Little

(SENCo) is regularly asked to speak at conferences, especially around Development Language Disorder and ensuring pupils experience an inclusive learning environment in their school.  Most recently she presented at the Language Matters conference in Lincoln sharing what we do for all our learners at Beckfoot Allerton.
